Located in a major metropolitan area, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ provides secondary education degree students extensive and intensive field experiences in secondary schools throughout the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students who wish to teach English at the high school level (grades 9-12) enter the secondary teacher preparation program. The program involves extensive professional education courses with a strong grounding in content area coursework.  All teacher preparation programs also involve extensive experiences in partner schools.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to a bachelor\u2019s degree in secondary English education, a number of other options are available within the program including: double major with English education and English;
